“From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to be great! The BEAT convention was one of the most amazing experiences our dance studio has even been a part of. Being greeted with a warm smile from Courtney Galiano was just the beginning. The entire staff of THE BEAT was 100% committed to making each and every child feel like a star. The classrooms were filled with some of the most amazing and inspirational dance teachers and choreographers. The BEAT staff was there not only to "teach" dance but to "love" DANCE! I would not be surprised if each student at one time throughout the weekend was personally encouraged by the members on staff. The staff was engaging and interactive throughout the entire convention. The room was filled with fun and positive energy which is what life is all about. If we had only one convention that we could attend, it would 100% be THE BEAT! Thank you for making your convention more than just a workshop, but a HOME! Can't wait until the next one! BRAVO!”

The Beat Dance Tour is one of the best conventions we have attended.
My daughter, Kylie, is 11, we have been attending conventions since she was 5. The Beat was small, personal and inspiring. The staff was accessible, not running from room to room ignoring the students as they ran. The staff are stars and role models to our kids and they treated them like equals and with such respect. AMAZING! The improv/audition portion of the tour was the best thing that my daughter has experienced to date and we watched other members of her dance team break through walls and barriers they had self imposed. They tore down the mystery of dancing alone and auditioning in front of hundreds. Jeff Thacker's comments were real, true, honest, inspiring. As a mom, I was moved by many. Watching the dancers grow in 2 days is something I cherish. The Beat is a family, all of Courtney's family was so nice and helpful and open, Courtney herself was professional, caring, honest, true, the other teachers/staff took time to talk to the kids, talk to the parents, teach at their pace, teach them to a level beyond them, and encourage them to dance bigger than themselves. It was all done in such a positive way that the kids/dancers did everything that was asked of them and then some.
Wonderful experience. Family like environment, kind of like a family reunion. Loved it. GO TO THE BEAT! Can't wait until next year.

“Love the beat my daughter Athena had a great time she grows as a dancer every year, the only thing I would change is to have three rooms age 10 under ,12-14, and 15 up cause the age between 10-14 is huge. And the little ones couldn't keep up and the bigger kids wanted to move faster.”

“What an amazing weekend! I will be bringing my daughter, Cayce, back next year! The faculty and staff provide a one of a kind experience for each dancer. The amount of information provided about the industry is so helpful and you won't find that experience anywhere else! Thank you!!”
